Unser UPTOWN Pullover aus Baby Alpaka ist extrem weich und kuschelig. Er ist aus 100% Baby Alpaka hergestellt, einem Naturprodukt, das ohne Tierleid angebaut und geerntet wird. Alpacas sind natürliche Träger von Lanolin, einer Substanz, die sehr ähnlich dem Sebum (Talg) ist, den unsere Haut selbst produziert. Dieses Lanolin sorgt dafür, dass Baby Alpaka Wolle sehr weich und seidig ist. Es ist auch hypoallergen und daher für Menschen mit empfindlicher Haut ideal.

baby alpacas are shorn once a year by hand. Their coats grow continuously and are only cut back to about two thirds of their original length to ensure the animals’ welfare. This results in an annual yield of just a few hundred grams of the finest wool per animal. The special thing about baby alpaca wool is its minuscule fibre diameter of just 16 to 22 microns. That’s around one third thinner than merino wool! As a result, baby alpaca garments are not only incredibly soft, but also really lightweight.
